Gabr Fellowship
The Fellowship exchange program will now begin in Egypt in June 2013. The US program will take place in September/October 2013.

After the completion of all logistical issues, the Shafik Gabr Foundation in co-operation with Humanity in Action is pleased to announce that the Gabr Fellows will commence the East:West initiative on June 2nd 2013 in Egypt.

The East-West Initiative
The initiative will allow young emerging leaders to participate in exchange programs between the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
The initiative was launched in London, Washington and New York. Further events are planned for 2013 in Paris, Istanbul and Cairo.
It has been set up by the Shafik Gabr Foundation, and inspired by the Orientalist traveler painters.
