Last Updated: January 6th 2013The international events include panel discussions on the key themes of cultural exchange and Orientalism, with a focus on bringing leaders from the East and West to engage in bridge building.

In London, Washington and New York, there was a morning symposium from 9.30am to noon - and an evening launch of the initiative at a dinner reception at 7pm.
Each symposium had two panels:
- Early Globalists? What the Orientalist travelers have to teach us today.
- Beyond Government Diplomacy: How can we address East West challenges and contribute to bridge building?
