After the completion of all logistical issues, the Shafik Gabr Foundation in co-operation with Humanity in Action is pleased to announce that the Gabr Fellows will commence the East:West initiative on June 2nd 2013 in Egypt.

Masterpieces of Orientalist Art: The Shafik Gabr Collection will be published on November 1st 2012 – alongside the launch of the East-West: The Art of Dialogue initiative. The book will be on sale in art bookshops and via online retailers.
The BBC World News presenter Nik Gowing has agreed to be the moderator at the first East-West: The Art of Dialogue panel event – to be held in London on November 15th.
