2015 Gabr Fellowship Egyptian program concludes

After two weeks of discussions, meetings, round-tables, and cultural visits in Cairo, Giza, Ismailia, Alexandria and Luxor, the Egyptian portion of the Gabr Fellowship concluded in Cairo on October 29, 2015.

During the Egyptian portion of the program the Gabr Fellows addressed a wide range of leading speakers in the field of business, economics, politics, religion, media and art. The list includes H.E. Mr. Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, General Mohamed El Keshky, Assistant Minister of Defense, Ambassador Hamy Loza, Dr. Ahmed El Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Bishop Moussa of the Youth, General Sameh Seif El-Yazal, Chairman of al Gomhouria Center for Political and Security Studies, Mr. Rob Riemen, Founder, President & CEO of the Nexus Institute, H.E. Amre Moussa, Former Secretary General of the Arab League, as well as Honorable Mona Makram-Ebeid, Senator and Former Parliamentarian.

The Fellows also had the privilege to visit the New Suez Canal and go for a boat ride along it.

The U.S. portion of the program shall start on Saturday, 7th November, 2015 where the Fellows will visit New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and Washington D.C.
