Beth Cartier is the assistant director of New York Meetings at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. Before working in the Meetings program, Cartier was an intern for CFR's Women and Foreign Policy program. Previously, she worked with the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Striking Viking Story Pirates. Cartier received an MA in Politics and International Relations from New York University and a BA in theater from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Beth is originally from Southboro, Massachusetts.
